Fairmont Police Department/Martin County Sheriff
Summer Internship Program
The Fairmont Police Department and Martin County Sheriff’s Office will be accepting applications for the summer internship starting on April 10, 2017.
To be considered as a candidate for the Fairmont Police/Martin County Sheriff’s Internship Program the applicant must be currently enrolled in a criminal justice or law enforcement program at an accredited college, university or vocational college. The applicant must have a current cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and successfully complete a background check. The applicant must not fit any of the rejection criteria for employment/licensure as outlined in Chapter 6700 by POST or the rejection criteria outlined by the Fairmont Police Department.
The following application packet must be completed and
returned no later than 1600 hours on May 1, 2017.
